Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to orders placed through sedgley-tigers.com — event tickets, season tickets, memberships and any goods sold through the site. By completing your order you agree to them. The sections on entry apply to club events such as Fireworks Night.

Who we are

Sedgley Park RUFC, Park Lane, Whitefield, Manchester, M45 7DZ. Questions about an order should go to info@sprufc.co.uk or 0161 766 5050. For event tickets specifically, eventtickets@sprufc.co.uk.

Event tickets

  • Your order confirmation email is your ticket. Show it on your phone at the gate — there is nothing to print and nothing is posted to you.
  • Buy one ticket for every person attending, including children, unless the event listing says otherwise.
  • Tickets are sold for the event and date shown at the time of purchase.

Refunds

  • Event tickets are not refundable once purchased. Please make sure you can attend before you buy. The exception is where we change or cancel the event — see below.
  • Because tickets are for an event on a specific date, the 14 day right to cancel that applies to most online purchases does not apply to them. This is a standard exemption for dated leisure events.
  • Memberships and season tickets are not refundable once the season has started, and otherwise at the club’s discretion.
  • Any physical goods bought through the site are covered by your normal consumer rights to return faulty or misdescribed items.
  • If you have been charged in error, or charged twice, contact us and we will put it right.

Transfers and resale

  • Tickets are not transferable and are not for resale. We will not honour a ticket we believe has been resold, and we cannot help if you have paid someone else for one.
  • If you can no longer attend, you are welcome to pass your confirmation to a friend or family member rather than waste it — but the ticket stays under the original order and we cannot reissue it in another name.

Changes to the event

  • The club reserves the right to change the date of an event, in particular where severe weather or safety considerations make it unsafe or impractical to go ahead.
  • If we move the date, your ticket stays valid for the new date and you do not need to do anything. We will email everyone who has bought a ticket as soon as a decision is made.
  • If you cannot make the rearranged date, contact us within 14 days of us announcing it and we will refund you.
  • If an event is cancelled outright and not rearranged, we will refund the face value of your ticket.
  • Timings, entertainment, food vendors and other details published in advance may change. An event may go ahead in poor weather; only the club can decide whether conditions make that unsafe.

On the day

  • Persons under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • At firework events, please leave your own fireworks and sparklers at home. Anything brought on site may be confiscated.
  • We may refuse entry to, or remove, anyone behaving in a way that puts others at risk. No refund is given in that situation.
  • There is no parking on site. Please travel by bus or on foot where you can, and park considerately if you have to drive.

Filming and photography

  • The club takes photographs and films video at its events, for the club website, social media, matchday programmes and other club publicity. By attending you accept that you and anyone in your party may appear.
  • There will be signs at the entrance on any day we are filming, so you know before you come in.
  • If you would rather you or your children were not filmed, speak to a marshal or a member of staff when you arrive and we will do our best to keep you out of shot. You can also email info@sprufc.co.uk in advance.
  • We will never publish a child’s name alongside their photograph without permission from a parent or guardian.
  • If something has been published that you want taken down, email info@sprufc.co.uk and we will remove it. You do not have to give a reason.
  • You are very welcome to take your own photographs and video for your own memories. Filming or photography for commercial use, for press, or for anything beyond personal use needs written permission from the club beforehand.
  • Anyone taking photographs or filming in a way that causes concern will be asked to stop, and may be asked to leave.
  • Any safeguarding concern about photography or filming at one of our events should go straight to Tracy Lumer, our Safeguarding Officer, at tracy.lumer@bolton.gov.uk.
