Sedgley Park Tigers Raise Over £1,100 for Bury Hospice

Sedgley Park Rugby Club is proud to have supported Bury Hospice with a donation of £1,155, raised through recent club events.

The funds were generated as part of the club’s Jack and the Beanstalk pantomime, which proved to be a huge success both as a community spectacle and a fundraising initiative. Thanks to the generosity of those who attended, particularly through the raffle, the club was able to contribute to the incredible work carried out by Bury Hospice.

In a letter of thanks, Stuart Richardson highlighted the importance of such donations, noting that Bury Hospice provides vital end-of-life care and support to patients and families across the borough. Every contribution plays a crucial role in helping to sustain these services.

With the hospice requiring significant funding each year to continue its work, community support remains essential. Contributions like this help ensure that compassionate, high-quality care can be provided to those who need it most.

Sedgley Park Rugby Club would like to thank everyone who attended the pantomime and contributed to the fundraising efforts. The club is proud to play a part in supporting such an important local cause.
