The U12’s were lucky enough to grab an invite to a mini festival at Sale FC on Saturday 28th March. Sale FC had numbers for 2 teams, with Sedgley, Knutsford and a touring team Mosborough providing a team a piece.
It was great to play against like minded teams with rugby values stressed throughout.
Sedgley enjoyed four competitive matches and were able to give valuable game time to some of their numerous new recruits.
Highly recommended if any other age groups are offered the chance, Sale FC were great hosts and all the kids really enjoyed the morning.
A refreshing shorter format of a typical festival day, followed by an enthusiastic Easter Egg hunt/stampede which was enjoyed by all!
