2026 INAUGURAL NATIONS CUP
In 2026 the traditional Autumn Internationals will form part of the new Nations Cup which is to be played out every two years (avoiding RWC and Lions Tour years). There will be 2 Pools – The 6 Nations Teams in the Northern Hemisphere Pool (NH) and the SANZAAR teams plus Japan and Fiji in the Southern Hemisphere Pool (SH).
In summary each of the 6 NH teams will play 3 SH teams away in June/July and then play the remaining 3 SH teams at home in November. Same points rules as the 6 Nations so there will be an order to the finalised Pools results which allows for a Finals weekend to be played at Twickenham over three consecutive days when 6th place in Group 1 plays the corresponding 6th place in Group 2 and so on. This will take place over the weekend of Friday to Sunday 27th, 28th, and 29th November, 2026 in this order ….. 6 v 6 followed by 3 v 3 on Friday, 5 v 5 followed by 2 v 2 on Saturday and 4 v 4 followed by 1 v 1 on Sunday. Tickets will only be refunded if resold, and you cannot leave the stadium between games (so no handing over tickets to others).
The RFU have negotiated an early sales window where RFU Affiliated Clubs can purchase a limited number of tickets for the above Finals days AND England’s home games against Australia at 15.10 pm on Sunday 8th November, 2026, against Japan at 16.40 pm on Saturday 14th November 2026 and against New Zealand at 14.10 pm on Saturday 21st November. These tickets are on sale NOW ONLY to Affiliated Clubs up to 3rd March, 2026 ahead of the General Public Sale.

Our window for ticket sales closes on Monday 2nd March at midnight. The good news though is payment to the Club is not required until the beginning of June.

Whilst there is likely to be a further window of opportunity the choice will be much reduced as will the number of tickets available to the Club.
